Please join me on May 18th, 2008 to walk for a cure. The Parkinson’s Association of Western New York (PAWNY) is pleased to announce that we will be holding their first annual Tiptoe through the Tulips Walk for Parkinson’s disease on May 18th, 2008 at Erie Community College South Campus. At this time, PAWNY is seeking community participation and assistance for this exciting event. I think it will be fun, please join me!

  Proceeds of this event will benefit their initiative for the development of a state wide Parkinson’s registry. The registry will make a dramatic contribution to the efforts in finding the causes of Parkinson’s disease (PD), identification of the trends in PD, and support research toward a cure for the disease. In addition to the registry, money raised will be used to support the research efforts in the fight against Parkinson's here in Western New York and through the National Parkinson Foundation.
